Golden Lamb Cont'd
The hallway seen in the photo (above left) is where we heard what we assumed to be the ghost of the little girl running and laughing after she made contact with us while we took a break on the red, antique bench outside of Sarah's room and our room, the Harriet Beecher Stowe room.

As old as the building is, it has settled tremendously causing extremely loud, creaking floors and gaps as large as a half an inch around the door frames. We were able to see out into the hall on the top portion of the frame as well as the bottom of the frame, under the door. The hotel is open as a living museum throughout the day to the public, so the foot traffic was nonstop until the late hours of the night.
Before falling asleep, with the lights turned off in our room, we could easily see the bright hallway lights streaming in from the other side of the door. We noticed what looked to be a full body, the size of a child, walk up the last step and right past our room. This happened a couple of times but we did take note and monitored it for any reoccurrence before falling asleep.
We woke early the next morning at approximately 6am and while we took our time getting ready, we noticed the “shadow figure” walking up the steps and passed the door into our room again. We watched it take place twice more, and then I silently walked to the door, put my ear against it and heard nothing. As I stood there, we saw it pass through again. We quickly opened the door only to see and hear no one physical walking up or down the stairs or the hallways.

(right) From inside the Harriet Beecher Stowe room when we saw shadows under our door in the hallway (seen above, right). Note the orb that was captured. We believe this to be a form of paranormal activity.
The ending of our stay proved to be paranormally intriguing. We left the Golden Lamb Inn hypothesizing that the Inn is haunted, but also with disappointment that it was not as active as we had hoped. In ending, whether you experience ghosts or not, you will indeed experience a warm, welcoming trip back in history in beautiful Lebanon, Ohio.
